Email addresses are added to the Recent Addresses database when data is stored in the local Outlook for Mac database (for example, when you first set up your account and synchronize data to Outlook or when new email is received or sent in Outlook). Create New Outlook Desktop Alert Rule for Specific Account. Open 'Outlook' Go to the 'Tools' Menu. Click on 'Rules and Alerts'. Also, the instructions here are not for deleting or canceling your email account with itself; the account will be deleted only from the program on your computer. It still will exist with the email service and will remain accessible through whatever email client you might set up or through the email service provider's website. If you want to close your account with an email provider (such as Gmail or Yahoo, for example), you'll have to log into your account through a web browser and access your account settings. I am set up to receive several email accounts, but only need to access some of these when colleagues are off work. On my old system I could go into send & receive settings and enable or disable each email account with a quick click. I can't find that option under advance.? Open Schedules > Send and Receive All. Remove the POP Account from schedules. Word for mac 2016 remove page numbers. If this is going to be an on/off type of thing, then add these accounts to a custom schedule. This way you only have to uncheck the schedule to disable. I have 5 email accounts on outlook 2011 for mac, i don't want to receive emails from one of those accounts anymore, BUT, I don't want to delete the account either. There is NO way to edit send/receive schedules. I disabled the send/receive all schedule, but even then, outlook searches for new email every xx minutes. I try to add a new send/receive schedule to include only the accounts i want to receive email from, but it's impossible, it won't let me. Quite simple with Outlook 2011. Just switch to ' Offline,' under ' Tools' tab at the top of Outlook, then ' Online Mode' at the top, far right. Hi, I have the same issue. ![]() Did you find a solution?
